Q&A {with my bestie}, New iPad, School Woes-Cherry on Top

Hey y’all!

So Sundays are my ‘other’ posting category. This post will be a big mix of random topics.

  • Q&A with my bestie TAKE TWO—A few months ago my bestie Alyssa and I had a Q&A together and we’re creating a second one! Therefore, comment below as many questions as you can think of for either her, myself, or both of us!
  • Last July I bought myself an iPad for school and was in debt for months as I was forced to pay for it myself by my dear parents “You’re going to be an adult soon and have to learn to do things on your own” . About a month ago it became very peculiar about charging and was quite picky and it continued to become worse and worse until it essentially stopped charging. Long story short, I couldn’t post this past week due to this issue and the new one from the warranty had not arrived yet at the store for pickup. However today I received it, YAY! And here I with a new post XD
  • What possible school woes could I have when school hasn’t even begun yet, you might ask. Well as a sarcastic and pessimistic Slytherin I pride myself on finding the bad things in every scenario sadly it is true I received my wonderful school schedule. . . To say the least: woe is me.

That is all I have planned to chat about as my week has been pretty rough. Sorry y’all for the short and sour post. Don’t forget to comment questions for Alyssa and I below!

My Addiction ~ Cherry on Top

Hey y’all! Happy Sunday!

In my prior post I told y’all the upcoming blog posts in order, starting with Sunday: Tsum Tsums.

First off a reminder:

Sunday: Other

Wednesday: Baking

Thursday: My Top 5: insert category

Sunday’s post will always be kind of random. For example today is my Tsum Tsum addiction. Some other posts I have planned in the next few months for Sundays are: vacation, Q&A with my bestie part 2, DIYs, Harry Potter & Disney related posts.

Anyways, on to today’s post!

What are Tsum Tsums?

Tsum Tsums are originally from Japan. They are plushies & vinyl figures of Disney Characters. There are all the original ones and more. Some are holiday themed ones like every year there’s the Christmas sets, Valentines day, Halloween, Honey Day {Pooh Bear}, etc.. I don’t have many plushies compared to most collectors as my collection was put on hold after quarantine began. Tsum Tsums are pretty pricey online {usually} which is why I almost always bought my plushies at Walgreens & my vinyls at Walmart.

Also, an important part of the Tsum Tsums are that all characters are flat-ish and are laying on their stomachs’. Why? Because Tsum Tsum is Japanese for Stack Stack.

You’re welcome for the little lesson XD

I do hope to collect many more! Mostly of the plushies. XD

That’s all for today!

Do you collect anything? Do you like Tsum Tsums? Do you own any Tsums?

Upcoming posts:

  • Gluten Free Strawberry Cupcakes+NEW PIPING TOOLS!
  • My Top 5: Disney Characters
  • Gluten Free Brownie Fudge Cupcakes

Tie Die Vanilla Cupcakes {Gluten Free Recipe}

Hey y’all! Happy Saturday!

My parents anniversary is technically tomorrow {Sunday} however my Dad will be having a procedure done on Sunday and won’t be able to eat anything solid so we’re celebrating today.

I prefer to make cupcakes than cakes or cookies. I don’t quite know why I prefer them over cookies, but I do love cupcakes better than cakes because they’re so cute and tiny!

Also, my Mom loves to tie die anything and everything ahems curtains, sheets, clothes, pillows, and more. . . so I decided to tie die her cupcakes!

Also, we had to go Gluten Free a while ago because of my Mom and sister so my Dad and I eat pretty much everything Gluten Free too. Therefore, you can count on all of my recipes being Gluten Free. Anyways, onto the recipe.

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 & 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 & 1/2 cups flour {I use Cup4Cup gluten free flour}
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • Food coloring

  1. Mix the eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix in the sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Pour mix evenly into 3 separate bowls. Each bowl, die a color. I used fuchsia, turquoise, and lime. {Sorry the colors in the photos have a weird lighting}.
  4. Pour the 3 colors into one bowl and gently swirl the, with a spoon. {Be very careful to not blend them too much!}
  5. Pour the cupcake batter into the cupcake liners.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before taking out of pan or let cool 20-30 minutes before frosting.
  8. Frost cupcakes. I did roses {my request} and random designs {my mom’s request}.

And then then you’re all done!

  • This should make 18 cupcakes or one 9×9 cake.
  • If you make a cake, bake at same heat but for 30 minutes.
  • The batter will be very sticky but when it comes out, the cupcakes will be so so moist!

That’s all! Bye y’all!

I’m Back! {New Theme, Blog Tour, & More}

Hey y’all!

First, I’m so sorry I have not been active for so long. I’ve actually been surprisingly busy this quarantine. I’ve accomplished quite a bit!

I do plan on being much more active on here for real this time. I also have a few things up my sleeve. XD

  • I have created a new theme! It’s all turquoisey frosting themed {with a hint of gold & sass} which will make more sense in the next bullet point.
  • I’ve really gotten into baking these past few months. Therefore, my blog will be kinda different now.

Why is my blog going to be kinda different? Well I will be posting mostly recipes and frosting how~to’s. However I will definitely be adding in a splash of my life and DIYs.

  • I’m going to be doing a ‘grand reopening’ of Cherry on Top! Or in other words, a blog tour! Sign up here to be in a post during my blog tour: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JNYBTQH
  • Tomorrow there will be a fabulous recipe post about tie die Gluten Free vanilla cupcakes.

That’s a wrap. Bye y’all!

Do you like to bake? Are you excited for the blog tour? How has your life been since I’ve been gone?

My Bullet Journal March 2020

Hey yall!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while! I have been rather busy. However, I promise I shall be posting again soon.

So I made sure I took photos of my planner before I put all of the appointments and such in it this time so I don’t have to blur them out. XD

Here’s my cover photo:

And now here are just the rest of the weeks:

Happy Friday y’all!

Any plans this weekend? What is your favorite color? Have you seen Frozen 2 yet?
